Pesto Sauce

Vegan rich pesto sauce perfect for a pasta dish (brown rice pasta and bean pasta is my favorite!) or simply add to any bowl! Hemp seeds are optional or can fully be a substitute to pine nuts if you have a nut allergy. They are a great source of omegas (brain health!) and protein.

INGREDIENTS: 

¼ (1oz) Pine nuts  

¼ Hemp seeds  

1 cup Basil  

3tbsp (21mg) Extra virgin olive oil  

1 Lemon/2 tbsp lemon juice 

2 tbsp (8g) Nutritional Yeast  

Pinch of salt   

Pinch of black pepper  

DIRECTIONS: 

01. Blend all ingredients until achieving a smooth consistency.
