DAILY SPIRULINA SMOOTHIE

This smoothie is a big staple of mine for a post workout meal as part of my "raw till noon" routine. The mineral and nutrient content it carries is insane. It is tropical and delicious! Spirulina powder has been my staple source of plant protein. This powder coming from algae is a superfood packed with minerals, vitamins and antioxidants, especially high in magnesium, calcium, iron and phosphorus. It's anti-inflammatory, and easy to digest as it is a single ingredient powder that pairs well with raw foods! You can use between 5g all the way to 15g. A small dose goes a long way! Feel free to use different / more fruit as you please, and include any toppings that you may like! My favorites are hemp seeds, raw cacao nibs, and coconut flakes.
