Cauliflower wings

Vegan. Gluten free. Low calorie. A healthy and plant-based alternative to your spicy comfort food wings.

INGREDIENTS:

1 cauliflower 

½ cup gluten free flour: quinoa, almond or all-purpose flour 

½ cup water 

1 tsp smoked paprika 

½ tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper

½ cup franks buffalo sauce or other dairy free buffalo sauce. 

DIRECTIONS:

01. Chop the cauliflower into florets. 

02. In a bowl, mix equal parts of flour and water. I used ½ cup almond flour, ½ water. Add paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper. Mix into a batter consistency. 

03. Add the cauliflower florets to the batter and cover them throughly. Then place your florets on a baking sheet. 

04. Bake in the oven at 425 for 20 min.

05. Once golden brown, take the wings out and Coat them with the buffalo sauce.

06. Place back in the oven for 8-10 min, if oven has a broil option switch to that for the last 2 min until they look crunchy. 

Serve with a plant based (dairy-free) ranch or other dressing!
